Patricia
is ERYT500 with a strong, diverse educational background. She has
completed over 4000 hours of anatomy, kinesiology and physiology. She
is currently finishing a training through Duke University for
Integrative Medicine with Yoga Therapy. Patricia has a deep
appreciation and love for all of the styles of yoga she has trained in.
Her vast knowledge of the anatomy has enabled Patricia to blend the
best aspects of 5 very popular yoga styles
and create her own, known as "Fusion Yoga".
A complete listing of Patricia's trainings are listed below:
♥ Anusara teacher training with John Friend, Betsey Downing,
Todd Norian,
Desiree Rumbaugh, Jordan Bloom and Ken
Van Rowen
♥ Ashtanga teacher training with David Swenson and Bryan Kest
♥ Iyengar teacher training with Adil Palkhivala, Dean Lerner
and Tias Little
♥ Bikram & Hot Yoga Certification programs
with Jimmy Barkan, Lisa Goodwin and Bea Raydo (Tejas)
♥ Teacher training with Doug Keller of

Muller
All of this training has given Patricia an ability to identify specific
challenges in each of her student's bodies. Part of the beauty of
"Fusion Yoga" is that it is not a "one size fits all"
style. By using a combination of techniques, alignment
principles and breath work Patricia offers each student specific
guidelines and ways to modify postures to help heal injuries,
strengthen their bodies and forge a deeper connection between the mind,
body and breath. Patricia specializes in hip work and offers workshops
specifically focused on the hips. She is currently writing a book on
yoga practice for the hips. "Fusion Yoga" is a work in progress which
continues to grow and expand on a daily basis.
